DPW- Summer Help
The Borough of Norwood is hiring seasonal summer help. 40 hours per week. Applicants should  have experience in Landscaping and a clean driving record is a must. DPW Hours of Operation - Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Leaf Collection begins October 15, 2018-December 15, 2018 with a bi-monthly pick up.  Please do not park near or on leaf piles. During this time Brush Collection is suspended. Please keep brush away from leaf piles until chipping resumes.  
E-Waste Pick up is curbside on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.  You must call the Borough Clerk's Office at 201-767-7200 ext. 4026 to schedule a pickup.  All items must be curbside by 7:00 a.m. on the day of pick up.
The DPW no longer accepts old gas, paint, paint thinners, motor oil or cooking oil.  You may go to www.bcua.org to see when and where the next Hazardous Household Waste Collection Event is.
The DPW reminds us "Do not park your car in the street during a snow storm"
The Borough of Norwood provides one (1) recycling barrel to each new resident, additional barrels may be purchased from the Borough Clerk for a fee of $10.00, checks only, no cash is accepted.
